“Grand Palace goes above and beyond in making our merch next level. Not only are they experts at their craft, but they are all artists themselves and have a high taste level, so I really trust them when it comes to color combos, choices of blanks, or the size of the design. I consider myself the biggest t-shirt nerd and they put me to shame, always showing me new printing techniques they want to try, or new blanks they love.”
The Project
Acony has been working with us for over a decade, and they’ve truly become part of the family. Great people, great art, and always a joy to collaborate with. This spring, they rolled out a fresh lineup of shirts for their tour dates, and we were stoked to help bring it all to life.
For the 2025 US Woodland Tour Tee, we helped Acony translate a 6-color design into a 5-color CMYK process. To capture the vintage photo feel they were after, we swapped the process black for a custom charcoal and added a soft spot color outline to frame the artwork. The result kept the depth and detail while bringing a slightly softer, more timeless look to the print.
We printed a restock run of 2,000+ t-shirts across five designs, some with custom inside tags to keep their branding tight. One new design, the Hard Times Tee, was such a hit that we turned around a 700+ piece reorder the next month to keep it moving strong.
To top it off, Alicia from our team designed a CMYK gig poster for their April shows. (We might be biased, but it turned out pretty nice.)
Why We Loved This One
Tour merch is more than something to sell; it’s part of the experience. Acony trusted us to deliver something special for their fans, and we were honored to help make that happen.
Easy communication, amazing artwork, and a team that values the craft? Yes please. These are the kinds of projects that make us love what we do.
